The entry of industry giant IBM into the personal computer market in the early '80s had as much impact on PCs as almost any other single event. In November of '83 BYTE turned its attention on Big Blue with a cover theme called "Inside IBM." As shown in the above reproduction, Tinney took the tag line all too literally!
